The Combo has everything you need to be able to fly. However, make sure you have a compatible cell phone for viewing while you fly. It is a lot more fun. I also found out that the Ipad mini, version 4 is compatible, even though it isn't listed as one of the compatible devices. Using my Ipad mini gives me a much bigger viewing area.
