Yes, When you take off, the GPS will mark your location and return the drone automatically if you lose connection or the battery gets too low.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a return to home feature which when activated will cause the drone to fly back to its initial "home point" which is recorded at take off. This is provided the drone's compass is calibrated at start up (which is recommended by manufacturer). As far as low battery return, that's a no. You can set a low battery alarm at say 25 percent battery which should provide plenty of juice to get back as long as other factors are kept within reasonable limits. These factors include distance from home point, wind speed and direction, as well as temperature. Cold is your enemy with LiPo batteries. Dense air in high heat is also going to require more power.
