RC pro has a 1,000 Lumes brightness versus this one has 600. Currently 3rd party apps are not supported. Has no HDMI out or live streaming abilities.

Also dont confuse the two black shell controllers, the DJI SMART CONTROLLER and the DJI PRO. The RC Pro is an Android tablet in the background, and can run apps for drone flying. Like autonomous flight, etc.. It also has a super clear screen as well, but the PRO has extra features like an HDMI-out Port, Dual External Antennas, more buttons, and a brighter screen, possibly slightly bigger as well. It's also 4x the price of the DJI-RC at almost $1200. Don't even consider the DJI smart controller unless all you need is the HDMI port. Its super slow and takes almost 2-3 minutes to power on.
