Samsung Galaxy A7 is not listed on the comoatible list, however, it does not mean it can not work with DJI Fly app, you may try to download the app from the official website https://www.dji.com/downloads?site=brandsite&from=nav and see if you can try it out in the local retailer. Requires Android 6.0 or above. • No you dont need a iphone most android phones will work for the drone but some android devices will not work for the dji drone
