just about any of the recent samsung or apple phones or tablets should be compatible with this drone , just make sure you meet the minimum requirements for your particular device and you should be good to go , I use a samsung galaxy s7 with mine and no problems so far

They're set up to use either Apple or android devices. Personally, I've been told they work somewhat better with Apple because the software on android is more "buggy". I've only used Apple and as long as you take the time to set it up correctly it works fine

I have an iPhone 7 and it works OK, but if I don't have my glasses its hard to see all the icons. Unless your eyes are young or still very good, you might consider using an iPad. I just ordered an ipad holder the other day.
