Yes it does include one battery. I recommend investing in additional batteries & a charging hub. You can find a portable charging station with two batteries on sale at DJI’S actual website. Haven’t checked for the portable charging station at Best Buy.

Charger is included also, takes about 1.5-2 hrs to charge the drone battery, and last 15-20min flying time. Controller takes about an hour to charge and last about 5-6 full flights
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The basic combo that they offer comes with one battery. I have flown my Spark about 10 times—you definitely want more than 1 battery. I have 3. 2 seems like the absolute minimum, I wouldn’t be disappointed with 5.... Just another note, although I know you didn’t ask: make sure that not only all of your batteries are charged before going to fly, but also make sure the controller and your smart phone are at 100%. Any of the 3 could impact your flying time. The controller, once charged up, is good for a while. However, it does require charging with a separate, not included with any package, micro USB charger cord.
