• A:Answer It can be played offline. You MUST have an internet connection to download the FULL game first, however. I e-mailed Bethesda support and this is what they told me. What a shame the physical game disc doesn't have the actual game or at least a V1.0 build for the game on it.

• A:Answer The physical version does come with a physical disc but there is no game on the disc. There's basically just an installer for the game on the disc and the FULL game has to be downloaded.
