Nowhere in the product specs does it claim to be CL2 OR CL3 rated and according to Dynex's website, it is not rated for in-wall installation at all. As a couple of the other replies note - in a rather foolhardy manner - it can of course literally and physically be used inside walls, but that would be really stupid. Electrical and fire codes - and wire safety ratings - exist for very good reasons; only fools ignore them when they apparently don't even understand the reasoning behind the ratings in the first place.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it is CL2 - it is also only 18 guage wire -you don't want to put this in your wall. Heavier gauge CL3 is what you want to use.
