“Will this work with my older sony cd/dvd receiver-Model HCD S300?”

• From what I am finding about your component I am only finding an optical In port on Video 2. This means that if you are feeding audio to this system in order to feed the speakers it would work. If you are looking to output from this device to another system, say a TV, since I am not seeing an optical out I don't believe this would work.
