where do I keep my cable? when I travel can I plug each end of the cable in to the sockets on the battery, or should I get a rubber band & attach cable to battery?

We would not recommend plugging the cable into the battery on both ends.

do not think it is ever a good idea to plug the cable into both ends.put it iin an over night bag or even a ziploc but never plug both ends in at the same time.

Connecting both plugs can cause a short circuit. i would get a rubber band

You won't be able to connect both end of the wire to it at the same time. The 2 port are to close and I imagine it's to prevent any surge. Buth I leave the wire connected to the USB port and it hold well to it. You can travel like that.

I'd go with the rubber band option. Maybe even a small ziplock or travel bag would work as well.

You could plug them both in but I wouldn't recommend this because if an end breaks in the charger you're out of luck so I would use the rubber band idea I keep my charger and my cord in a small bag and it has been fine :)

Either would work. I use a rubber band so I won't lose the cord. Might want to get a longer cord though.

No. It will confuse the charging bord inside the unit and may damage it.
