• dvdpr25= DVD+ dvdmr25= DVD- SOME RECORDERS SUPPORT + AND SOME ONLY SUPPORT -, BUT NOWADAYS THEY SUPPORT BOTH

• Tech diff & diff group of developers. + disks supposed to be better and a little more expensive. Google it and you shud b able to find a better tech x-plain.

• This is simple dx-dvdpr25 is Dynex pack with 25 blank cd and it's in dvd+r dx-dvdmr25 is Dynex pack with 25 blank cd's and it's in dvd-r do you see the difference? First one is the Plus and the second one is a Dash which a dvd player won't care what format it is written but in a dvd recorder writer it does.

• For all intents and purposes there is no difference to you the end user with current equipment. DVD-R and DVD +R are standards that most current equipment will handle seamlessly. You can read the spec online if your really into knowing what those differences are but it's safe to say that DVD-R had some kinks to be worked out and DVD+R worked them out. Now it's mostly done through hardware and the end user need not worry about the difference.

• dx-dvdmr25 gives you better flexibility. They also have a higher rating for less burn errors.

• These differ in the format of the disks. For a full explanation, do a search of the term "dvd+r vs dvd-r". DVD-R is the original standard for DVD recordings. These disks should be able to be played back on any DVD player. Most modern players will accept either format, but you should check the specs of the equipment that you intend to play it back on before purchasing one or the other.
