Will this connect my Sish receiver to my Samsung tv. null

Hi, your Samsung tv most certainly has an HDMI port, so this would plug into it. It is VERY likely that the receiver you speak of does as well. It it industry standard for over half a decade now. If your receiver (or even your Samsung) are over 6-9 years old, look at back of them to see if you see the HDMI port. If they are not over 6-9 years old, you can bet the house that they'll both be HDMI equipped and this will connect them.
