Will this work for the Nintendo switch null

Don’t have a switch. Works with new iPad Pro. Supposed to be the new standard for cables for all devices going forward. Usb-a is standard USB that you’re accustomed to. USB-c is new, different from any cable I’ve seen before. This cable works for usb-a to usb-c connections.
