A:AnswerI’d be very leery of doing any kind of Rube Goldberg mounting. The mount itself is really made to be attached against a wall to 2 studs. The next thing to consider is weight. The mount is pretty hefty. Plus the TV. You’ll be holding up ~80lbs or so. I wouldn’t risk an expensive TV that way.

A:AnswerCheck that the brackets are both mirror images of each other. They must fold inward together. You might have to reach around to help one or the other to head in the same direction. It helps too to loosen the bracket allen screws just a bit.
