QuestionMy 55” LG TV has holes that are 36 inches apart. The mounting plate in this device is only 31 inches wide. Is there any kind of adaptor that can allow me to narrow the span on my TV and put the strips no more than 31” apart?

- Answer It should. Double check the tv specs for the mount dimentions and refrence to the specs for the mount. I had my parents 70" Visio mounted. All this has is hardware. If you want to hide cables in wall you need to buy extra HDMI cable (s) and a jumper box if you want to hide power cable. Hope this helps.

- Answer Check the spacing of the mounting bolts holes on the back of your TV, and its weight. Then check the mount's specs.
