• This answer is not specific to Lenovo. I tried this cable from an HP laptop HDMI port to a monitor's Display Port and it would not work. Research indicated that it has worked if the HDMI is on the monitor and the display port is coming from the source (desktop, laptop, docking station) This makes no sense to me... if it works in one direction, how can it not work in the opposite direction??
