QuestionI have a 144 Hz monitor and a pc with an hdmi port and no DisplayPort, if I use this cord to plug the hdmi into my pc and DisplayPort into my monitor, will I lose my refresh rate? Thanks!

- Answer PC video card / circuit will determine max refresh rate unless your monitor has upscale capability

QuestionI have a docking station and it says that it needs an "Active DP Adapter" when converting from DP to HDM/DVI/VGA. Will this cable work? I have not been able to find any specifications for adapters or cables that specify if they are "Active" or not.

QuestionHaving problems with this cable not working on either of my consoles; I have the DP connected to my Monitor, and the HDMI into the back of my console. I’m using this cable on a PS4&XBOX ONE S. The Monitor only has a DisplayPort & HDMI and 5 USB inputs.

- Answer it is a directional cable and is passive, it will not work, hdmi must be the output.

- Answer I don't think so. Kindle Fires do not have a Displayport connection generally. You would need an MHL adapter.

- Answer You can connect one end to the DisplayPort on your Desktop PC and the other end to the HDMI input on a monitor.
