I can't think of a situation where I would want to connect a keyboard dongle to a USB extension cord, except if your TV only has one USB socket and you want to have the capability of easily connecting other devices to it without having to go behind the TV. Generally, a keyboard dongle is connected to a USB socket and left alone. Nevertheless, I think that this extension cord should work fine for that configuration. If my guess is correct, you should consider buying a USB hub instead. I recommend the type that includes a power adapter so that you don' draw power from your TV.
