“1080p Support Hi there, I recently purchased the cable for my PC, and am using it with a 1080p monitor. According to the monitor and the PC, 1080p is being output. It seems to be working just fine, however on the packaging it says, "supports 800 x 600 video resolution". Is this the maximum resolution supported, or can it go as high as 1080?”

• The cord can support 1920 x 1080.

• My monitor says it is at 1600 X 900 and it's working fine. I believe that means it can support the old resolutions on older monitors.

• This cable will support a 1080 resolution without any issues.

• It does go to 1080p. My setting is higher and it works just fine.

• I routinely use this with an HD (1080p) monitor. It also works with a widescreen monitor. Maybe the 800 x 600 refers to backwards compatibility.
