“Can I plug two different input sources into this cable to play sound through a stereo? I would like to plug my TV's sound output cable (3.5mm) and another 3.5mm cable to connect my phone to play sound through my stereo (not at the same time, of course). I do not want to plug headphones into this, but rather want a way to switch between TV sound and my phone sound without having to switch the wire between devices each time. Will this work?”

This unit will feed both devices in, but in having 2 devices connected to the same input can cause interference and sound distortion.
