“The TV i have is 65 inches a weighs close to 100 lbs. the screw holes in the back of the TV are about 24 inches apart therefore the bracket needs to be about 30 inches. Will this model bracket get the the job done.”

The mount supports up to 120 lbs and VESA compliant up to 600mm x 400mm. Your TV mounting screw distance of 24 inches is most likely 600mm (23.6 inches). Measure the vertical distance between the TV mounting locations and if it's 400mm, then this mount should work for you.
