Chris, The back plate on this mount is roughly 24” wide and the mount is rated up to 200 lbs, so it should work fine. But there are some things you should know in advance. The TV will be mounted very close to the wall so if the cords on your TV exit straight out the back of the TV, they will get smashed between the wall and The TV unless you use right angle connectors or extend the wall bracket further away from the wall using a 1x4 or 2x4. The bracket does come with some spacers and you should plan on using them, but even with the spacers, the TV still sits close to the wall. But that’s one of the reasons why I use this bracket for my TV’s. I want the TV close to the wall. The text below is from another Q&A regarding the screws and your TV and has some useful information. “You technically need the same size screws but you want to use the spacers provided by Samsung on the top and bottom screw holes. The bottom spacers will be flush while the top spacers will stick out a ways. You want to use size M8 / 45 mm screws on both holes. The metal mount should not touch the back of the TV but touch the spacers. This is proper and correct for the nu8000 (65inch and probably the others). This is the CORRECT way and length. Don’t use other screw sizes without spacers.”
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
