I tried charging my iPad and it wouldn't charge. It did charge my phone but not fully. It does not hold a lot of power.

This portable battery has a 2200 mAh capacity. You will need to compare that capacity to the capacity of your tablet battery.

No, but you can run your tablet off of it for a decent period of time.
