As for enhancements if you are asking about an amplifier then you should try this and return it within your 14 days if it does not work. If you need an amplifier then you need to upgrade to a antenna that has an amplifier. The best placement for this antenna will vary depending on your location and home, some people will find this antenna to work fine hanging behind the TV, on the wall and window.
