Would it fit a Samsung S9 null

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and s9+ have a USB-C connector, not HDMI, so this cable will not work with it, but you can get a USB-C to HDMI adapter cable that will work - just search for Samsung S9 USB-C HDMI adapter. There are cables and hubs available. The advantage of the hub is it will charge the phone and has additional USB ports for mouse/keyboard/USB stick.
