- Answer It CANNOT! I tried it thinking it would be a good way to save money and still have the functionality of the Wi-Fi model that costs nearly twice as much. Sadly no, it will power your fan off with the smart plug but not power it on. So useless.

QuestionIs there anyway to dim the light on this model? I bought it for my bedroom and am very sensitive to light when trying to sleep. I noticed some of the other models seem to dim, but this appears to stay lit up bright while in use.

- Answer Light stays on, I suggest some dark tape or something to block the light or darken it.
