“I have a Dyson cordless vac, one of the more powerful models. Is an upright significantly better at cleaning? I have never used an upright, before I got the cordless, I had a canister, not a Dyson and I think the cordless Dyson does a much better job.”

Hello Violet, this is Adam with Dyson. The top line stick models (for instance, the V15 and Gen5 lines) are very close overall in raw specs regarding maximum suction power capacity to our strongest upright models (for instance, the Ball 2 Animal and Ball Animal 3).
