Hello Tania, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Slim Ball, which is Model 281289-01 is a smaller, more compact machine. The suction power on this upright is 200 air watts, the machine itself is just 15 lbs. and the bin size is 0.34 gallons. The Ball Multi Floor upright is a full size upright with 270 air watts of suction power. This model weighs just over 17 lbs. and the bin size is larger, at 0.55 gallons. Both machines will perform in the same manner, both having Dyson Ball technology.
