• Yes, this vacuum does very well picking up cat hair from both carpet and wood flooring. As far as the crevice by the baseboard goes, if there is "dirt" left behind when running the vacuum parallel along the baseboard, I just run the vacuum perpendicular up against the baseboard and that almost always works. It seems most of what I empty out of the bagless bin is cat hair from our two cats.

• Absolutely -- I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, one of which is a Bernese Mountain, so you KNOW I have pet hair.
