Hello MTD, this is Kelly with Dyson. The cleaner head on the Ball Multi Floor 2 is self-adjusting, so it will automatically raise and lower to seal in suction across all flooring types. Dyson machines have higher suction levels than most brands on the market. You may wish to check with your carpeting manufacturer, as some manufacturers have specific restrictions related to suction power, brushbar and/or machine types best suited for their floor covering.
