• Hello Dan, this is Kelly with Dyson. The motor and all of its components are located in the ball, of the Ball Multi Floor 2. When vacuuming, it would be normal to feel air exhaust at your feel whilst vacuuming. Best Wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
