• The yellow model I just purchased has a washable filter. It should have a filter but not all models are washable. Should be located in the lift off canister.

• Hi Bill, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 bagless upright vacuum cleaner features two filters; a pre-motor filter that sits inside of the cyclone, as well as a post-motor filter inside of the ball. Both filters are washable, and you should wash those every 3 months, allowing them to fully dry before putting them back in to the machine. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• There are two filters that need to be cleaned every 3 months.

• There are 2 filters that you wash by hand. No need to replace, just clean them, let dry and pop back in.
