“Will this work well on a shag rug? I'm looking for a vacuum with out a beater bar.”

• This does NOT work on my thick rug. I cannot imagine it would work on a shag rug. It just stops.

• Hello Deanna, this is Kelly with Dyson. While the Ball Multi Floor 2 upright vacuum does feature a brush bar, it can be disabled by pressing the brush bar power button, once the machine is turned on and reclined. You can vacuum your floors without the brush bar rotating, just using suction power. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
