This is how it is designed. The vacuum has to be locked upright to use the attachment hose
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that your daughter is having trouble getting her Ball Multifloor to lock in to the upright position. There will generally be two clicks that you should get when putting the vacuum into the upright position. These clicks are not always noticeable unless put into the upright position at a slower speed. I would recommend putting the unit into the upright position at a slower pace in order to listen to the clicks that occur in order to troubleshoot the problem. One click will be the wheels of the vacuum going into place. The second click will be the wheels locking into place. It is important to ensure the second click occurs as without the second click, stabilizer wheels are not able to lock securely into place. If she's still having issues, please have her reach out to us directly at [email protected] and we will be more than happy to help. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
