Hi Gerry, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a lack of suction when using the wand/hose on your Dyson Ball Multi Floor. There is nothing you need to change in order to have equal suction in this hose. From what you are describing it's possible you may have a blockage within the machine.
