Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Cinetic Big gBall Animal + Allergy vacuum. The Cinetic series does not have any filters that require maintenance. However, does have a HEPA filter located under the ball. This filter doesn't need to be removed. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service

Dyson utilizes a new technology that takes out even the smallest of particles in such a way that there is no need for a filter, and thus, no need to ever worry about changing the filter. It must work, or else it would not be able to advertise the HEPA certification!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure where the filter is. Nice thing about this model is that you don't have ANY filters to change, just empty the cup & vacuum some more. That's one thing that sold me on it!
