Does this vacuum work with a beater bar or suction. null

It works with both. The beater bar can be turned off or on. So you can use the vacuum on hard surfaces as well as carpets. You will have to remove threads or string once in a while from the beater bar. That’s just regular maintenance on the vacuum. This vacuum is great.
