- Answer You just twist it opposite clockwise to open it, and u pull it out. Then, simply wash it, and let it dry for 24hrs and you put it back.

QuestionI am a senior, senior and have been using the Electrolux canister for the past 30-40 years. It is still perfect; however, I now need something much lighter that will continue to clean my wall to wall carpeting, large house. Dyson V10 animal recommended

- Answer It's kind of heavy and you have to hold the trigger the whole time, so you hand gets fatigued. Plus, the reliability of the Dyson is so horrible, I'd honestly recommend going with a different manufacturer.

- Answer I have a 1200 square foot home and have vacuumed the whole thing without running out of power yet. My best guess is 30 minutes-depepnds on how much you use it in high power mode.

QuestionIf you have dogs, Does the Dyson animal 10 emit the smell of dogs when being used? Our Bissell vacuum exhaust smells like dogs and we don't want that, obviously.

- Answer I think the Dyson V10 Animal is the best! I have a Corso (massive shedder) and a Yorkie (sheds very little) and the Dyson V10 allows me to adjust the suction to what is needed or for a particular surface.

- Answer If subjected to extremely rough handling (dropping on concrete, falling, throwing, they can crack or break, but overall the V10 is very durable. There are 5 of us that use our Dyson and we have never had a problem with cracks or breaks. I would contact Dyson directly.
