- Answer I don't think so. The connector changed. My V8 came with the soft roller brush and it works on the V10.

QuestionHi, my question is this.....I have a cordless v10. When I use it too sweep my carpet or hardwood floors it blows the dirt or dust balls and does not pick them up very well. Could you please advise me on this matter. Thank you, Lucy

- Answer Maybe you are letting the trash canister being filled pass the max fill line? Try emptying the vacuum @3/4 full. Hope this helps. I never had this problem with my V10 animal!

- Answer Hello JaniceLynn, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal vacuum's brush bar will always be spinning. None of our cordless models have the capability to shut that off. Our upright models and most of the canister models offer brush bar control. If you have bare/hard floors and are concerned with spinning bristles, a soft roller head is available for purchase separately; which was the tool engineered especially for hard floors.
