“I currently have a Dyson V6 and dust and lint etc tends to accumulate in the upper part of the collection chamber, around the motor unit, making it very hard to remove. Is the design of the V10 sufficiently different to prevent that?”

The Dyson V10 drops down the bottom trap door for emptying AND THEN you push a red button and the dirt container comes completely off making it SUPER easy to clean! It is amazing! Are you sure your V6 doesn't do that also?
