Hi there John, this is Tia from Dyson. This Dyson extension hose is not compatible with the Animal DC25 upright vacuum. However, it does work with a variety of other Dyson models, including the DC22, the DC40 and the DC65. If assistance with part replacement is ever needed, our Dyson experts are keen to assist with this. Please keep in mind parts purchased through Dyson's site include a one year warranty.
