Hello FC, this is Kelly with Dyson. When using the HP01 in heat mode, it will draw 1500 watts of power. For best performance, we do recommend plugging this unit directly into a wall outlet separate from other high-powered appliances. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
