I’ve been using this fan pretty much 24/7 at 72 degrees with the auto off function kicking in every now and then since the start of my current billing cycle. It’s now the end of my billing cycle and my electric bill has gone up by $200. This was the only consumption related change so YMMV.

While that depends on your home's electrics, we can confirm that the heater does use more wattage than the fan mode. The minimum wattage is 6 watts, and max is 40 watts. Hope this helps!
