Hello Milo, this is Kelly with Dyson. When using Auto mode, if you have your air quality target, or temperature target set to a certain level, and your machine reaches that level, it will stop blowing air. The machine itself stays on, to monitor the air quality and temperature. If either dip below the level you've set, you'll begin to notice the flow of air again through the loop. Please feel free to contact us directly at [email protected] we are keen on providing you with support and learning more about your experience. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
