Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ air purifiers will operate with HEPA filters, which are designed to capture 99.97% of allergens as small as 0.3 microns making this an ideal air purifier for allergy sufferers, pets, dust, smoke, pollen, cooking smells, and mold spores. Dyson air purifiers will also be effective at removing pet dander. However, it's worth noting they will only be effective as it relates to pollutants, and allergens in the air.

Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifying heater fans will operate with a 1400W motor, with about 6W - 40 watts being used in the fan setting, and up to 1400W being used in the heater mode. When used in standby, typically in the heat setting, Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifiers will use around 0.5W. I hope this helps!
