Can the unit be used without cooling the room? null

Yes. Their is a setting that changes the airflow to not push into the room at all. This just leaves it for humidifying and purifying.

Hi Anna, this is Kelly with Dyson. The PH01 Pure Humidity + Cool does have a backward airflow mode, so if you wanted the benefits of humidification or purification, but didn't want air blowing on you, you can use backward airflow mode. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
