Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. For the whole-home benefit of purification or humidification, you would want to invest in multiple machines. The air wouldn't purify in the whole home, on multiple floors. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

I have it in my 650 sf apartment and it can’t get the humidity % above 60% (I tried to get it to 70% for 48 hours but it never got above 60). I keep it in my bedroom and it’s worth every penny. Finally sleeping well through the worst of allergy season.
