• Hi Joe, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can turn off the humidification and use the PH01 as just a fan/purifier. You can also put the machine in backward airflow mode for cooler months when you may not want cooler airflow directed at you. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
