I've been using mine since 3/29/21, and have not seen any. I don't think these models perform the same way like other humidifiers I had in the past which creates that constant mist. I have an external device that monitors humidity in my bedroom and it matches up with the Dyson so at least I know it is working at least.

If the LCD screen and the app are reporting increasing humidity levels and the tank is depleting over time, you can be sure that the machine is humidifying. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
