The smaller unit includes a heater function, the larger on does not. Other than that, they are pretty much identical units.

Please try again later.Hello, I wasn't positive on which 2 units you were referring to, but we have the pure-cool link which is an air cleaner/fan unit but does not offer heat. I believe the shorter unit also offers heat which would be an additional feature. I'm not sure why it is shorter other than it may not need to be that tall to push the same amount of air and if it does blow heat, the heat could be cooled off by the time it is released from the top of the taller unit, so Dyson probably chose to engineer the heating unit smaller to keep the heat trapped before it is released.
