The only variables are the speed of the air through the Dyson unit... it all goes through a filter.. and sherther it rotates through an arc as it operates. So there is no such thing as the power of the filter .. just the volume of air you are filtering in any given time period - up the speed of the fan and more air filtered in any given time period and vice versa. The way the unit runs an automatic, is that fan speed is increased in proportion to level of contaminant in the air. The Lower the air quality the higher the speed.. the better the air the lower the speed.
